Job Description
Vanuatu Post Limited is seeking applicants to fill the following position:
Cashier
Primary function: Daily Cash reconciliation and banking, Stamp Float Audit, Assist with management of Post Office boxes. Candidates should have the following experience:
- Minimum Education – College Year 12
- Understands end of day Cash Up processes at the retail counters
- Experience in using MYOB or any POS system
- Understands Accounts Receivable receipts and administration tasks
- Friendly customer attitude
- Ability to work long hours when required
- Ability to handle additional responsibility
- Computer literate & strong knowledge of excel spreadsheets
- Articulate with oral and written communication skills
- Honest and reliable
- Good character to work in a team
- Able to live and work in Port Vila
- Able to work weekend when required.
Other qualities:
- Driving license as an advantage
Applicants should have an accounting background, tertiary education or equivalent academic qualification in finance and cash management.
