Role Overview
As the Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for strengthening existing
commercial advertising and sponsorships, identify new revenue streams, and, establish new commercial partnerships. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve the people of Vanuatu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to enhance VBTC’s financial sustainability.
- Identify and pursue advertising opportunities with local businesses, government departments, and commercial advertisers.
- Collaborate with content-makers to create commercial sponsorship proposals and negotiate its sale.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven Experience in Business Administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Understanding of media industry dynamics and trends.
- Passion for promoting Vanuatu’s culture and values.
