We are recruiting a Branch Manager for our Carpenters Shipping Agency business, a business entity under Carpenter Motors (Vanuatu) Limited; directs all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in accordance with the Management’s objectives. Providing training, coaching, development and motivation for all company personnel.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, be able to manage multiple facets of company and to grow the business.

Required skills and qualifications

• 5 + years of management experience
• 10 + years of shipping experience
• Diploma in Leadership, Human Resources, Finance, Management or Risk Management
• Manage employees and lead day-to-day responsibilities
• Recruit and interview new employees
• Assist with customer service to ensure overall customer satisfaction
• Oversee reports for budgets and financial reports
• Create plans and forecasts that are built to fit future needs
• Work to grow business and customer acquisition
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate
