Role Purpose

Save the Children ANCP Integrated Early Child development (IECD) project funded by the Department of foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) through Australian NGO Cooperation Program ( ANCP) is a four-year project that is directly addressing underlying factors impacting early child development, including child protection (and specifically children’s exposure to violence) and climate change, and social protection through evidence generation, advocacy, and government system strengthening.
The overall goal of the project is to contribute to improve and support children 0-5 years old across Vanuatu to reach their optimal development potential.

The Program Coordinator will support the Program Manager to facilitate the Integrated Early Child Development program detailed workplan and S/he is responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of the Parent Support Program activities and ensures that the workplan is implemented in line with quality standards and grant compliance requirements, and is accountable for all aspects of program implementation, including field operations and project-related procurements and financial reporting.

The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with Line Ministries and Local civil society groups including Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Climate Change and Vanuatu Christian Council to ensure program activities has been implemented according to the project implementation plan.
