Bakery Manager position is open to all.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Food Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in bakery, food production or retail management.
- Strong knowledge of bakery operations, products and food safety standards.
- Proven track record in managing staff and daily operations.
Skills & Competencies.
- Leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, bakery equipment’s.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Good financial management, including cost control. budgeting and stock management.
- Customer service orientation and ability to handle complaints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to ensure hygiene, safety and quality compliance.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities.
- Oversee daily bakery operations, including production, sales and customer service.
- Supervise and train bakery staff, ensuring high performance.
- Monitor quality control and compliance with food safety standards.
- Plan production schedules to meet demand and minimize waste.
- Mange inventory, purchasing and supplier relationships.
- Control costs and maximize profitability.
- Develop new product ideas and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Prepare reports for management on sales, costs and productivity.
