Full-Time ADVOCACY & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Job Description
“The Advocacy & Communications Manager is responsible for designing and delivering innovative advocacy and campaign strategies that inspire public support and actions, influence policy decisions and drive the agenda for children in Vanuatu. Working with the Program Development and Quality Director, they will lead on implementing the Save the Children Vanuatu Advocacy Strategy.
The function will also be responsible for maintaining a positive public image of Save the Children and support other members of the team to achieve brand consistency in line with organizational branding policy standards and donor requirements. She/He is also responsible for and managing the Country Office’s media-related activities. In addition, she/he will be responsible for building the capacity of staff of Save the children in Vanuatu in identifying and undertaking advocacy initiatives aimed at changing practices for betterment of children’s lives at community and national levels.
The Advocacy Manager will manage the Communications and Campaign Officer, who is responsible for communications outputs in projects and for organising and delivering campaign workshops and mentoring young activists and groups.”
