Full-Time ACCOUNTANT
Job Description
Nasi Tuan seeks to empower local agricultural communities in Tanna through seeking sustainable solutions that utilise local resources and expertise. The Accountant role is to work closely with the Managing Director by overseeing accounting, administrative, strategic, financial, and risks management operations of the Nasi Tuan Enterprises and Charitable Association.
Planning:
- Assist in formulating Nasi Tuan’s future financial direction
- Monitor the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop performance measures that support the Nasi Tuan’s strategic direction
Operations
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the Nasi Tuan executive management team
- Oversee the financial operations of Nasi Tuan Enterprises and Charitable Association
- Develop and implement operational best practices
- Take on other assignments as given by management
Financial
- Make daily entries into Xero financial system
- Ensure reconciliation and other accounting standards are maintained
- Monitor and control budgets
- Provide advise to Management on Nasi Tuans financial performance
- Make timely informal reports on financial performance to managers
- Prepare and present regular monthly reports
- Monitor cash balances and financial forecasts
Education and experience:
- Degree in accounting or business, prefer Master’s degree
- 3 to 5 year’s experience in accounting
