Full-Time ACCOUNTANT
Job Description
Stop Press Officeworks is looking for an Accountant or highly experienced bookkeeper/administrator to join our team.
The successful applicant will oversee the accounts department, assist with administration, human resources management and planning.
The applicant will need an advanced knowledge of MYOB and Retail Manager(RM).
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile MYOB reports and figures
- Import data (Creditors, Debtors and Banking) from MYOB RM to MYOB
- Verify Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet ensuring MYOB matches with MYOB RM figures
- Prepare VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations on MYOB
- Perform banking deposits on MYOB
- Clear duplicate data on MYOB RM transferred to MYOB
- Daily transfer of data from MYOB to MYOB RM
- Train staff on the use of MYOB and MYOB RM
Criteria
Required qualifications and skills:
- Familiarity with use of Microsoft office and excel
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with MYOB
- Strong financial management, human resource, and administration skills
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills, interpersonal skills, and patience
- Advanced written and verbal English language skills.
