Here is an opportunity to study and work in Australia, in the age care sector. Your employer in Australia will support you to complete your ‘age care’ studies, whilst you work in their age care facility. You need to be a very committed student and worker to successfully fulfil this position.

If you meet the selection criteria listed below, are interested in working in the age care sector, and know that you would like to live, work and study in Australia for three years, then you are encouraged to apply.

Selection criteria

• Commitment to work in harmony with Christian values and principles
• Is aged between 25 and 50 years old
• Is currently unemployed, and has not resigned from any job within the last six months
• Very good spoken and written use of the English language, as you will be studying as well as working
• A positive attitude and has a sincere and genuine caring attitude for elderly people
• Would like to start a job career in ‘age care’ through studying and working at the same time
• Be physically fit and able to work within a fast environment
• Strong ability to use a computer
• Available to work 38 hours per week, on any day between Monday to Sunday
• Ability and willingness to study and complete Certificate III in Individual Support
• Commitment to living and working in Australia for three years
• Ability to obtain a Visa (subclass 403) to work in Australia
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including medical assessments, police checks and NDIS worker check
