Job Description

A luxury motor yacht charter operation is advertising for a suitably qualified and experienced person for the position of Captain.

Main duties:

• Overall responsibility for the running of the vessel and operations of the business
• Responsible for the safety of guests and crew on board and compliance with all regulations
• Provide training for all the crew on board

Skills required:

• At least 10 years’ experience in a Captain’s role conducting sport fishing charters as well as extensive experience on-board large luxury motor yachts.
• New Zealand Master 500GT
• Dive Master and Ship Master Medic certificates
• GMDSS radio operations certificate, advance fire-fighting certificate and Marine Engineer certificate class 4 or higher.
