Position Locations: Santo & Port Vila

World Vision Vanuatu (WV) is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to work with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Since 1981, we have been working to transform communities through program delivery in education, health care, water, sanitation & hygiene, agriculture and sustainable livelihoods. In line with the Vanuatu Government’s National Sustainable Development Plan (2016-2030), World Vision – in partnership with communities – deliver programs that are relevant, cost-efficient, effective and make a lasting difference. Community development is a key focus of World Vision Vanuatu, with 80% of our staff based in the communities where we work.

MEN BE THE CHANGE PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Men Be the Change project aims to transform behaviors to Reduce Family Violence to ensure children are protected from violence.
These are the POSITIONS that will be required to recruit;

Development Manager
Based in Port Vila
Reports to Program Manager

About the role:

  • Manage the relevant MBC programming, including budgeting, planning, implementation and reporting
  • Manage MBC staff, ensuring delivery of quality services in the community
  • Work in partnership with communities to ensure that World Vision is delivering relevant quality programs
  • Build effective partnerships with stakeholders
  • Staff leadership and management, including capacity development

2 x Development Facilitator
Based in Port Vila / Santo
Reports to Development Manager

About the role:

  • Implement the project design document with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving Men be the change Program outcomes.
  • Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
  • Carry out on-going monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
