Job Description
The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experienced and qualified person to fill the position of Senior HRMIS & IT Officer within the Corporate Service Unit, Office of the Public Service Commission.
Job Title: Senior HRMIS & Systems Officer
Post No: 480
Grade: Ps 6.1
Annual Salary: 1,906,500 VT
Location: Port- Vila
Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification – Degree
Special Business Education – Computing or Information Systems
Experience – Must have at least 3 years’ experience in similar information systems role. Some experience in the provision of automated HR and staffing services is preferable.
Special Skills – Demonstrate capacity to:
- Use software application
- Work without supervision and to quickly understand new concepts
- System development & administrative skills
- Good communication skills. Both verbal and written
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Work as part of a team
Thinking style – Open minded and able to think theoretically, practically, and analytically and think through approach
Communication – Excellent presentation skills, which includes verbal and written communication
