Seeking Chief Financial Officer
Idyllic resort property in Vanuatu and part of the Wyndham Worldwide Group, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the Manager, the duties for this role will include:

- Providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions
- Directing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Recommending improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information
- Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgrades
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions
- Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements
- Leading and supervising accounting and finance staff
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure thedepartment is compliant with all Brand Standards
- Work within set budgets in relation to wage costs and ensure rosters are compiled and adjusted appropriate to demand.
Criteria:
Interested applicant must possess the following criteria:
- Hold strong leadership skills, well organized and ability to mentor and develop team
- A collaborative approach with a strategic and analytical focus
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior hospitality finance role in Internal Brand Hotels & Resorts
- Highly effective communication, networking and business partnering skills
- Strong financial acumen in financial reporting, budget preparation and cost control strategies and managing expenses within approved budget constraints
- Computer literate, previous Opera Fidelio PMS software, Opera, MYOB, Xero is compulsory
- Must be fluent in English. French and Bislama is a plus
- Must be proactive and very organized
- Member of CPA or CPAA.
