Job Vacancy: Full-Time Clearance & Costing Officer

We are seeking a qualified and registered Clearance & Costing Officer to join Alubat T/As Trade & Farm team on a full-time basis.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Vanuatu Customs Broker License.
• Proven experience in all aspects of customs clearance and costing.
• Thorough knowledge of Vanuatu Customs regulations, tariff classifications, and import/export procedures.
• Ability to prepare and process all customs clearance documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Experience in calculating duties, taxes, freight, and landed costs.
• Knowledge of hardware materials and products is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
• Good communication and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all customs clearance processes for imports and exports.
• Prepare and lodge customs documentation.
• Complete accurate costing and landed cost calculations.
• Ensure compliance with Vanuatu Customs laws and regulations.
• Liaise with Customs, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely reporting.
