Construction Vanuatu Group Ltd (CVG) is one of Vanuatu’s growing and leading construction and building services companies, providing construction, plumbing, electrical, maintenance and project delivery services across commercial, government, residential and infrastructure projects.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Manager to join our team in Port Vila.
About the Role
This is a hands-on management position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the
Plumbing Division.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Managing plumbing projects from commencement through to completion
- Estimating and preparing quotations
- Planning labour, materials and resources
- Supervising plumbing personnel and subcontractors
- Maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to company standards
- Assisting with business development and division growth
- Monitoring project profitability and performance
- Supporting recruitment, training and development of local staff
Skills & Experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Relevant plumbing trade qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience estimating and managing plumbing projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working within commercial construction environments
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Ability to mentor and develop local employees
