Consultant: Revision of Vanuatu Role Delineation

Vanuatu’s health system has undergone significant transformation since the Role Delineation Policy (RDP) was first developed in 2004 and partially reviewed in 2017–2018, with the RDP serving as a critical framework for defining service scope, workforce competencies, infrastructure requirements, and referral pathways across all levels of care—from community-based services to tertiary care; the Ministry of Health now seeks a consultant to undertake a comprehensive and technically robust revision of the policy to ensure it aligns with global standards, reflects regional best practices, and responds to the practical realities of service delivery in Vanuatu’s geographically dispersed and climate-vulnerable context.
