Full-Time OFFICE / FINANCE MANAGER
Job Description
Barrett & Partners Vanuatu are looking for a dynamic Office / Finance Manager to join our team. We are the largest Chartered Accounting firm in Port Vila– with 4 Partners and 25 staff.
Duties include day to day office management as well as back up for other roles in firm as maybe required from time to time.
The successful applicant will have the following:-
- Possess attention to detail qualities and ability to work efficiently without supervision
- Organisational skills to ensure smooth, efficient day to day operation of the office
- Manage office supplies, equipment, space, co-ordinate payment of local creditors
- Ability to assist with office budget and expenses
- General HR experience – maintain personnel records, manage payroll for office and clients, manage employer obligations (VNPF, leave, severance), prepare employment contracts, manage corporate & administrative staff
- Monitor Statutory Compliance matters for the firm
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite
- Prepare and maintain invoices and quotes as required
- Daily Ledger entries in Excel, MYOB, XERO as may be required
- Ability to prepare Bank Reconciliations
- Arrange Clients Funds payments and Funds Summaries, through our trust company and manage monthly term deposit rollovers
- Act as secretary to the Management committee
- Strong organization, administrative and interpersonal and communication skills and multitasking abilities
- Be fluent in English (a knowledge of French and/or Bislama would be advantageous)
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in similar role
- Salary and conditions of employment will be negotiated depending upon the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
