Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact with the VFSC and other relevant authorities
• Monitor, assess, and ensure compliance with: Financial Dealers Licensing Act (CAP 70), Anti-Money
• Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (AML/CTF), Market Practice & Code of Conduct
• Develop, implement, and update internal compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and internal audits
• Ensure that client onboarding and KYC processes meet local and international AML/CFT standards
• Oversee the segregation of client funds and regulatory capital adequacy compliance
• Prepare and submit required reports to the VFSC (e.g., AML/CFT compliance report, complaints register, client funds report)
• Conduct training for employees on compliance-related topics
• Support the executive management with compliance and regulatory interpretations
• Liaise with legal counsel, auditors, and regulators as required

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of the Financial Dealers Licensing Act (CAP 70), Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (AML/CTF), Market Practice & Code of Conduct issued under Section 19A of the Act, and sector-specific laws
• Proven experience (min. 2–3 years) in Compliance, AML, or Regulatory Affairs in a financial institution, ideally in Financial Dealer
• Strong risk-assessment, investigative and problem-solving capability
• Excellent skills in document and process formation
