WE ARE HIRING – NATIONAL COORDINATOR

•  Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu
•  Annual Salary: VT 5,400,000

VBRC, the recognised private sector coordinator for climate change and disaster response in Vanuatu, seeks a dynamic leader to serve as National Coordinator. This strategic position leads private sector engagement in humanitarian response and climate initiatives at national and international levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead private sector coordination during emergencies and disasters
• Represent VBRC on national climate and disaster governance bodies
• Coordinate climate finance and humanitarian response initiatives Build partnerships with government, donors, and international organisations Manage training programmes and capacity building for businesses

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in climate-related initiatives or project management
• Proven stakeholder management and coordination experience
• Experience in private sector engagement or humanitarian response
• Fluency in English and Bislama
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
