Full-Time SALES OFFICER
Job Description
Based in Port Vila and reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing customers whilst achieving set sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis to meet our customers’ borrowing needs
- Planning calling programs to build networking relationships with new and existing customers
- Working with the Team Leader to increase our customer base through exploring new Employer Agreements with both private company employees and Government Departments
- Planning, costing and undertaking external sales trips to other Provinces
- Handling customer queries and/or complaints in an efficient manner
- Working with the Manager to assist with collections and recoveries activities
Your credentials and characteristics should include:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a current sales role with a reputable Vanuatu company
- Prior experience in the financial services industry will be favourably considered
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Have a passion for sales and customer service
- Be goal-orientated and enthusiastic to achieve sales goals
- Trustworthy with a high level of integrity and ethical standards
- Have an eye for detail and possess good organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Disciplined time management and an ability to work under pressure in peak periods
- Be highly motivated and prepared to work long hours and/or Saturdays when required
- Be well presented and take pride in your personal appearance and hygiene
- A team play who demonstrates the appropriate corporate image and actions at all times
