WVV is now recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer based in our REACH Famili Senta in Port Vila. The REACH Famili Senta is transitioning to an independent service provider in early 2026. Despite this change they will continue to partner with World Vision Vanuatu to deliver family and community counselling services.
In line with REACH Famili Senta , the Senior Finance Officer will:
- Ensure that the World Vision Financial policies and procedures are followed regularly at the REACH Famili Senta.
- In collaboration with the Finance and support Services Manager, ensures that REACH Famili Senta financial reports are submitted on time .
- Ensures that accounting and payroll are processed accurately and in line with approved standards
- Ensure all transactions are acquitted appropriately and check purchases and acquittals are in line with policy and procedure.
The ideal candidate should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- 5 years experience in Finance
- Experience in grant accounting and payroll systems
- Must be proficient in Microsoft, Word and Excel
- Diploma in Accounting or accounting Technician Competency
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Account (CA) or Certified Internal Audit Qualification
- General Finance principles and auditing
- Understanding of Finance data processing concepts and systems
- Knowledge of spreadsheet applications
- Knowledge – World Vision Vanuatu or other NGO or Donor Finance Guidelines
An annual salary package of between VT1,194,684 to VT1,344,024 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
