Job Description

We are seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to join our maintenance delivery team in Port Vila.

The role will work closely with subcontractors delivering planned and reactive maintenance works on site.

The role will act as the link between our client and our subcontractors to make sure the facilities are maintained, and works are delivered safely and on time.

This role will require travel to Santo to perform the same duties. All flight and accommodation costs will be paid for by Sustain FM360.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

• Managing resources including subcontractors, plant, suppliers and materials
• Establishing, managing and developing strong relationships with customers and clients
• Ensuring commitment to zero harm, health and safety and environmental compliance
• Managing maintenance activities on site and logging them in our works management system
• Ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed on time and to the correct standard
• Requesting and evaluating quotes from subcontractors
• Checking the quality of works on site and reporting any issues and working with the subcontractors to deliver works on time and on budget
• Assisting with minor project delivery

This is a key role, and you will need:

• The ability to drive safety and quality works through operational excellence on time and to budget
• Broad facilities management or engineering knowledge with demonstrated experience across a diverse range of engineering and building assets for maintenance and minor construction works
• High level of emotional intelligence to work with and build strong relationships with employees, clients, subcontractors, stakeholders and walks the talk
• Demonstrated history in developing a culture of Zero Harm and the ability to stop works if it’s not safe
• Great coordination and communication skills and loves a challenge
• To pass a pre-employment drug test and medical is required
• Provide a satisfactory Police Clearance
