National Agritourism Strategy
The Ministry of Trade & Commerce (MTC) through the Department of Tourism we are seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant to lead the development of a comprehensive National Agritourism Strategy. This strategy will aim to strengthen and promote agritourism as a vital sector, supporting local economies, sustainable farming, and rural tourism.
The overall objective of this work is to establish a comprehensive framework that will guide and promote the sustainable development of agritourism across Vanuatu. This framework will provide strategic direction, support diversification of income for agricultural communities, and enhance Vanuatu’s tourism offerings by integrating educational, cultural, and culinary experiences related to agriculture.
The aim is to ensure that agritourism contributes to the country’s economic growth while preserving its agricultural heritage and promoting sustainable practices
