Missions
The Fishing Operation Supervisor that will oversee and coordinate fishing operations, ensuring sustainable practices, compliance with regulations, and Business profitability and growth. The role involves managing operations, monitoring Fish stock levels, and Managing Sales outlet on land.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily fishing operations on land, including equipment and crew oversight.
- Develop and implement sustainable fishing strategies.
- Monitor fish stock levels and Sales Outlet.
- Delivery of Fish from Fishing Boat to Sales Outlet.
- Liaise with local authorities, suppliers, and buyers to maintain strong relationships.
- Analyse market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of fishing vessels and fishing equipment.
1. Knowledge /Qualification
- Can Read and Write English
- Experience in small Business Management in any similar corresponding field.
- Comfortable with Social Media , FB, WhatsApp Etc.
2. Skills
- Out spoken with good Sales Skills
- Good negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Physical ability to handle fieldwork and lifting of Esky when required.
- Must Have a Valid Drivers Licences.
3. Personal characteristics
- Prefer Non kava Drinker or very limited intake.
- Honest with Money Handling
- Ability to work under stressful situation
- Proactive and self-initiative to solve problems
