Full-Time OPERATIONS MANAGER
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of Discount Hardware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all operational functions within the organization. This includes inventory management, and process optimization to meet organizational goals and maintain high standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee and streamline daily operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently across departments.
- Staff Supervision: Lead, manage, and develop operational teams, ensuring high performance, motivation, and accountability. Provide training, set goals, and monitor staff performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient order fulfilment, and proper storage of materials and products.
- Customer Service: Monitor customer service and ensure that customer expectations are met.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, productivity metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze data to make informed decisions and optimize operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of three years of experience in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in computer, retail manager & Microsoft office.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
