Short Term Consultant
Capital Investment and Immigration Plan (CIIP)
The Ministry of Trade & Commerce (MTC) through the Vanuatu Aid Management Unit (VAMU) is seeking a consultant to work closely with the Task Force that has been established to properly coordinate the Capital Investment and Immigration Plan (CIIP) project implementation, monitor progress and evaluate success/failure of the sub-projects.
To assist the Task force in this process, the consultant is expected to complete this Tasks:
- A 3-year Work Plan for CIIP implementation;
- Guidelines for CIIP Investment;
- Sample Business Plan Template;
- Quarterly Returns Template for Agents;
- Template for Project monitoring Forms
- Template for Project evaluation Forms on project completion;
- Criteria for recruitment of Agents;
And during the performance of his/her task the consultant is expected to consult with the following agencies.
- Citizenship Commission
- CIIP Task force
- DG FEM
- DG Trade
- Director Trade, Industry & Cooperatives
- Director External Trade
- Director Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries
- Director DLA & Ben Tabi
- Various Industry Associations and representatives
- CIIP Agents
The Tenure of this contract will be between 4 and 8 weeks and may be extended by mutual consent of the two parties.
