Advertisement: Call for Government GPS Supplier
The Office of the Public Service Commission is seeking proposals from qualified GPS technology suppliers to provide and maintain GPS tracking systems for the government’s fleet. This initiative aims to improve the management, monitoring, and efficiency of the government fleet.
Scope of Services:
- GPS Tracking Devices: Supply and installation of GPS tracking devices in all government vehicles, including Provinces.
- Real-Time Tracking: Provision of real-time tracking software with user-friendly interfaces accessible via web and mobile platforms.
- Fleet Management: The system should offer comprehensive fleet management solutions, including reporting on vehicle usage, route optimization, and fuel consumption tracking.
- Maintenance and Support: Ongoing technical support and regular maintenance of GPS devices and software.
- Data Security: Ensure that all vehicle and location data is securely stored and accessible only to authorized personnel.
- Reporting: Ability to generate detailed reports on vehicle usage, including speed, distance travelled, and time on the road.
- Certified Technician: Standby technician available in Vanuatu for any support required by fleet management.
- Training: Training provide to fleet staff for basic operation and installation of the GPS device
- Installation: GPS must be installed by certified technician.
- GPS Platform: A GPS Platform software that can manage all vehicles
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Locally registered GPS supplier with a solid reputation for providing reliable GPS tracking solutions in Vanuatu.
- Proven experience in supplying GPS systems to large organizations, preferably government entities.
- Compliance with all relevant data privacy and security regulations is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to provide long-term support and software updates.
- Must be a wiring and a Plug in GPS type that can be install to hybrid vehicle
- Must have a powerful and comprehensive features
- A GPS Platform software that can manage all vehicles

Interested GPS suppliers are requested to submit their proposals, including company profile, product specifications, pricing structure, and terms of service, no later than 10 November 2024 . Please collect RFQ forms, from the Office of the Public Service Commission (OPSC).
