We are currently looking for suitable, qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professional to fill the role of Data Quality Assurance Manager. This position will be based in Port Vila, Efate with up to 30% travel to field locations.
The Data Quality Assurance Manager will lead the data quality assurance for World Vision Vanuatu by;
- Leading on the indicator and logframe design elements of new projects during the acquisition stages, including collaboration with technical experts within WVV and WVI and ensuring alignment with best practice industry monitoring indicators
- Leading the development of monitoring tools for project, integrating them into WVV’s software
- Leading the management and integration of World Vision’s new databases
- Capacity building and supporting World Vision staff on the use of new applications and tools
- Coordinating with project managers on a monthly basis for data quality audit checks
The required skills and knowledge are;
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science or Monitoring and Evaluation or Social Science).
- At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in database design or management
- Demonstrated experience in developing tools for monitoring of grant funded projects.
- Must have adequate knowledge and experience with both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and analysis.
- Previous experience with major donor’s proposal M&E requirements (USAID, DFAT, MFAT, EU, UN agencies preferred).
- Must have extensive capacity building experience with national staff in project monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
- Computer knowledge including LMMS, mWater, PowerBi (additional experience with data analysis software is preferred). Computer literate in Microsoft Office email and Internet.
- Strong planning, organisational and project management skills and ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain calm and work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems, persuade, network and negotiate.
- Demonstrated ability to work with autonomy, whilst working within a team to deliver high quality team products.
- Demonstrated high quality analysis and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration and facilitation skills.
