VACANCY NOTICE: Chief Warden Officer
The Port Vila City Council intends to recruit a suitable, qualified and experienced candidate
for the exciting position of Chief Warden Officer.
The role of the position is to plan, direct, manage and oversee operations of the Warden Unit,
coordinate assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies, as well as
providing support to the Office of the Town Clerk.

Annual Salary: 1,906,500vt

Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu
Candidates with the following qualification and experience are eligible to apply:
Education/Training : Degree in Policing or relevant field.
Experience : At least 5 years of experience in this field as well as other relevant fields.
Language : English, French & Bislama (both written and verbal)

- Ability to plan, organise and implement by-laws.

- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate and use of MS Office.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to produce reports and draft letters.
- Uphold highest confidentiality, privacy and integrity to protect
the Council. - Be able to work under pressure and work unsupervised.
