Since 1981, we have been working in Vanuatu to transform communities through delivering programming in education, health, water and sanitation and resilient livelihoods alongside the Vanuatu Government. Safeguarding children and adults living in communities where we work is also central to everything we do.
We are currently looking for suitable, qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professional to fill the role of Development Manager and Development Facilitator for its CHILD Project funded by Australian Government.
The Change, Hope, Inclusion, Love and Development (CHILD) for children in Vanuatu project aims to reduce physical, sexual, psychological and spiritual violence towards 6,680 girls and boys, including children with disabilities, in Shefa, Sanma and Tanna Island.
The Development Manager will:
- Report to the Portfolio Manager
- Collaborate with Portfolio Manager. Manage project activities within the respective province, including planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and some budgeting responsibilities. To ensure World Vision Vanuatu delivers high quality outcomes on time and within budget and in line with WVV core values.
- Managing programme/ projects staff including capacity building, performance monitoring and day to day operational support.
- Working in partnership with Provincial stakeholders and communities to ensure that World Vision is delivering relevant and high-quality programmes in a sensitive and professional manner.
An annual salary package of between VT2,211,852 to VT3,317,772 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The Development Facilitator will:
- Report to the Development Manager
- Implement project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
- Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
An annual salary package of between VT776,664 to VT810,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
