About the Role
PVIS is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join our Senior Leadership Team. This role is essential for effective financial management and strategic planning. Reporting directly to the Principal, the Director of Finance will manage the school’s finances, ensure compliance with financial obligations, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic financial planning and management
- Compliance with statutory and legal obligations
- Financial reporting and oversight
- Procurement and contract management
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Proficiency in XERO and other management systems
- Strong financial management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to lead and manage others
Desirable Criteria
- Eligibility to work in Vanuatu
- Experience in a medium to large organization
- Understanding of government policies and grants processes
