SHOP SUPERVISOR
Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking for a Shop Supervisor to be based in AMBAE.
Mission:
Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Shop Supervisor to join our team in Ambae. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, exceeding customer expectations, and leading the team at our retail outlet. You’ll leverage your strong customer service skills and sales expertise to create a positive and successful experience for both customers and staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Experience & Sales Leadership:
- Lead your team in exceeding customer expectations by providing exceptional service.
- Ensure efficient and timely processing of customer orders and resolve any disputes effectively.
- Utilize sales systems effectively to achieve set sales goals and targets.
- Develop and mentor your sales team, providing ongoing training and support to help them succeed.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities to increase revenue generation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering customer loyalty.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product and service improvement.
- Implement enhancements to customer service workflows to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
- Oversee data entry to maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database.
2. Team Leadership & Operations:
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and branded retail environment that reflects Vodafone’s standards.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment for your team, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Enforce company policies, including dress code and attendance, to ensure a professional atmosphere.
- Manage employee schedules and ensure punctuality to support smooth operations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to meet departmental needs and contribute to store success.
3. M-Vatu Onboarding:
- Implement and monitor the M-Vatu activity plan effectively, tracking progress against established goals.
- Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of M-Vatu activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing key findings, recommendations, and action plans for optimizing the M-Vatu onboarding process.
Competences:
1. Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, including customer relationship management, sales strategies, and market research.
2. Skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively interact with customers and staff.
- Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations through outstanding customer service.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills to guide and motivate your team.
- Ability to manage and inspire a team to achieve goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and identify solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Working knowledge of relevant internal practices and procedures for efficient store operations.
- Valid driver’s license.
3. Personal characteristics
- Fluent in English and Bislama, with a basic understanding of French an asset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
