The Ministry of Finance & Economic Management wishes to recruit experienced and qualified persons to fill the following position:

Department : Corporate Services Unit
Position Title : Internal Auditor
Post No# : 3122
GRT scale: PS 6.1 (VT 1,906,600)

Internal Auditor

1. Qualification: Professional/ tertiary qualifications in accounting or related discipline
2. Education: Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent is an advantage
3. Experience: 5 years’ experience desirable in Internal Audit or areas with focus on organizational risk management. Demonstrated experience in execution and oversight of risk-based audits programs. Good knowledge of government audit procedures and framework. Ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders. Ability to anticipate organization risks and opportunities.
4. Special skills: Planning and reporting skills, excellent auditing skills, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, computer skills including Word and Excel, Good research and analytical skills, high-level attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Thinking Style: Analytical and practical
6. Communication/ Interpersonal Skills: Report writing, face to face, presentations, ability to communicate persuasively
7. Behavioral Competencies: Honest, reliable and of good character
8. Language: English, French and Bislama

Job Category: Government & council. Job Type: Full-Time. Job Salary: 1,500,000 - 2,000,000.
