Junior Electrician Wanted!
Position: Junior Electrician
Department: Maintenance
Location: Mango Side River, Luganville, Santo
Weekly Hours: 40 hours + required for call-out
Reports To: Electrical Engineer
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Electrician to join our team at Forney Enterprises, Luganville, As a Junior Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Perform general electrical maintenance tasks.
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Assist the team in general maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
- Prior experience working as an electrician.
- High school leaving certificate
- Electrician qualifications from a technical college (preferable).
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair.
