The Organisation
Airports Vanuatu Limited (AVL) is a national organization that manages Vanuatu’s three gateway airports including Bauerfied in Port Vila, Pekoa in Espiritu Santo and White-grass in Tanna. AVL has a significant role to play in the safety, security, and economic prosperity of Vanuatu is obliged to comply with international regulations and standards.
The Position
There are 5 (five) positions available as Technician with one based at Pekoa in Santo and 4 (four) at Bauerfield. The role is responsible to provide technical assistance with regards to repair and maintenance of the Radio Telecommunication Systems, Navigation Aids, Airfield Ground Lighting Systems and Airport Systems for both Pekoa and Bauerfield.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Diploma/Degree from a recognized tertiary institution
► Sound knowledge in electrical and electronics
► Approximately 2 – 3 years experience
► Possess strong Computing skills
► Ability to work during weekend/public holidays
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Drivers Licence
