The Opportunity
The appointee will: tutor academic skills for the at-risk students; provide mentoring support to staff and students; produce promotional materials for the Faculty; implement and evaluate the operations of the Mentoring Programme for students studying in different modes of delivery; participate in staff development activities; research, review and produce resources for student academic support; evaluate and action research on student progression and success in distance education; and participate in the in-country science programmes in the region.
The Person We Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with at least 4 years Tertiary or upper high school teaching experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Remuneration
The position is available for a fixed term of 2 years.
Salary Range:
Level 1 VUV 2,669,542 to VUV 3,501,082 per annum (Inclusive of 15% Gratuity)
