ADVERTISMENT OF VACANCY IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE
The Public Service Commission wishes to recruit a qualified person to the position of Senior Forest officer – Planning, in the department of Forests within the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Fisheries & Bio-security.

Annual Salary: VT 2,106,500
Location: Port Vila, Efate
Application will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification
Must possess a degree or diploma in Forestry studies or Geographical information system. And strong familiarity with all aspects of Forest operations including planning and utilization.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years in Forestry related matters. Number of years or level of experience in filing/ keyboard work or driving, or high level of achievements in leadership, communication, advertising, managing resources, writing reports, advising clients, or doing similar type of job.
Special skills
Possess valid vehicle license, driving record, computer word/ excel etc.

Good communication skills
Language
Fluent in English or French and bislama
