Project Consultant

The Vanuatu Environmental Law Association (VELA) is seeking application for an experienced individual to develop Vanuatu’s first ever Guidebook to Environmental Law.

The Guidebook will consist of approximately 10 chapters and will focus on how law can help to protect, promote biodiversity and address conservation needs in Vanuatu.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A postgraduate qualification in law or Bachelor in Laws with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in research, writing, production, editing, formatting of guidebook or other similar publication
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Computer literate
• Understand NGOs setting in Vanuatu
