Job Description
The Public Service Commission wishes to recruit a suitable qualified person to the position of Policy Manager in the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer.

Application will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification
Must possess a Bachelor Degree or above in relevant field (public policy, information systems or technology, ICT, engineering, economics or related field including equivalent training.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years experience in a related role. Substantial experience in policy and regulatory issue in the ICT sector including solid experience with national ICT program design and implementation.
Special Skills
Demonstrate intellectual leadership and ability to think strategically about the role of ICT in other sectors and (more generally) the economy, as well as the ability to integrate sector-specific knowledge with operational strategies and policies. Must have very strong skills in program and portfolio management.
The candidate must have excellent analytical skills, be creative and practical with very strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills in English or French and Bislama.
