Contract MONITORING & EVALUATION SPECIALIST FOR RESILIENCE PROGRAMME DESIGN (CONTRACTOR)

Oxfam New Zealand –  Pacific

Job Description

Oxfam’s looking for a MERL superstar to join a design team!

Oxfam New Zealand is preparing the design of a Kōtui, a five-year gender and resilience programme in the Pacific and Timor-Leste. The goal of Kōtui is to increase the resilience, wellbeing and agency of women and others facing marginalisation, in the face of climate breakdown and disasters. We want to explore Pacific and Māori concepts of wellbeing and resilience, and use locally led adaptive management to guide programming. Monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL) are therefore critical to programme design and implementation, and we are seeking a MERL specialist to join the design team for the Kōtui programme.

The assignment will involve up to 40 days’ work, including travel to Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea and Fiji in the February-May 2020 period.
