Background
With funding from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) is implementing the Education Sector Program Implementation Grant (ESPIG) from April 2021 – December 2023. The ESPIG supports key priorities within the Vanuatu Education and Training Sector Strategic Plan (VETSS 2020-2030), including improving access to early grade reading books, improving inclusive education, and strengthening pre-service teacher training. Save the Children is the GPE Grant Agent in Vanuatu, and provides fiduciary, operational, and technical support for all ESPIG activities.
To support inclusive education for children with disabilities, MoET has recruited new Provincial Inclusive Education Coordinators and started outreach services to schools. Under component 3, the proram will strengthen inclusive education pre-service teacher training at the National University of Vanuatu School of Education (NUV-SOE) through establishing a new Inclusive Education Resource Centre (IERC) and hiring a specialist inclusive education lecturer to establish the IERC, develop new courses, liaise with MoET and build the capacity of NUV-SOE lecturers.

Salary Range: 4.7 M VT – 7.0 M VT per annum + 25% benefits based on qualification and experience.
