The Public Service Commission wishes to recruit a qualified person to the position of Assistant Forest Officer – Gaua in the department of Forests within the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Fisheries & Bio-security.

Location: Gaua, Torba province
Application will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification
Must possess a certificate or diploma in Forestry or any other related field.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years in field of forestry. Number of years or level of experience writing reports, or doing similar type of job.
Special skills
Possess valid vehicle license, driving record, computer word/ excel etc.

Analytical, practical, logical and creative thinker
Communication/ Interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Language
Fluent in English or French and bislama
